THIS WILL BRING A THREAT OF THUNDERSTORMS TO THE AREA BY MONDAY. DISCUSSION...SATELLITE SHOWS HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE REGION WITH HIGH CLOUDS STREAMING ACROSS CENTRAL NEVADA. WEAK UPPER LOW AT ABOUT 300 MB IS MOVING TO THE SOUTHWEST AND IS FORECAST TO MOVE INTO SOUTHEASTERN ARIZONA. WILL NEED TO WATCH THIS SYSTEM AS IT MAY MOVE INTO OUR AREA BY SATURDAY WHICH COULD BRING IN CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS EARLIER THEN EXPECTED. OTHER THEN THAT IN THE SHORT TERM ONLY LOOKING FOR A FEW DEGREES OF WARMING TODAY AND THEN STAYING THAT WAY INTO THE WEEKEND. WINDS WILL STILL BE FROM THE SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST UNTIL THE HIGH MOVES TO THE FOUR CORNERS WHICH WILL TURN WINDS TO THE SOUTHEAST AND INCREASE MOISTURE OVER THE AREA INTO MONDAY.
