Freezing rain and sleet fell across western parts of north Texas generally west of a line from Gainesville to Weatherford to Granbury to Evant. Up to 2 inches of snow was reported in some areas along with icing on bridges and overpasses. Several accidents occurred due to the icy bridges and overpasses near Eastland.

CONFINED TO THE EXTREME SOUTHEAST PART OF THE CWA. ELSEWHERE...A
FINE MIST OR DRIZZLE IS ALL THAT REMAINS IN WAKE OF THE EXITING
SHORTWAVE. LATEST FWD SOUNDING DATA CONTINUES TO SHOW SIGNIFICANT
WARM NOSE BETWEEN H850 AND H700 MB.  GIVEN THE LACK OF STRONG COLD
ADVECTION...WILL CONFINE MENTION OF LIGHT WINTRY PRECIP TO THE
EXTREME NORTHWEST WHERE THERE REMAINS SOME ROOM FOR WET-BULBING LATER
TONIGHT. POPS WILL BE TRIMMED CONSIDERABLY UNTIL NEXT SHORTWAVE AND
