LATEST MODEL RUNS MOVE LOW PRESSURE CENTER FROM THE MID TO UPPER SOUTHEAST TEXAS COAST AT MID DAY ALONG FRONT INTO CENTRAL LOUISIANA THIS EVENING. A SURFACE LOW PRESSURE CENTER ALONG THE MID TO UPPER TEXAS COAST LATE THIS MORNING IS EXPECTED TO MOVE NORTHEAST INTO CENTRAL LOUISIANA THIS EVENING. SOUTHERLY WINDS AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING MOIST UNSTABLE AIR INTO THE AREA AHEAD OF THE LOW AND A COLD FRONT THAT WILL TRAIL SOUTHWEST FROM THE LOW. WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR IN THE MOIST UNSTABLE AIR ALONG AND AHEAD OF THE SYSTEM.
