Heavy snow fell in the mountains of southeastern Idaho with 7 inches in Hailey, 9 inches in Victor, 8 inches in Sun Valley, 6 inches in Heglar, 11 inches in Stanley, 7 inches at Macks Inn, 9 inches at Island Park, 8 inches in Malad, 4 inches in Soda Springs, 4 inches in Rexburg, 3 inches on the Pocatello benches. Although snow amounts were light in the 1 to 3 inch range in the Lower Snake River…
Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.

Heavy snow fell in the mountains of southeastern Idaho with 7 inches in Hailey, 9 inches in Victor, 8 inches in Sun Valley, 6 inches in Heglar, 11 inches in Stanley, 7 inches at Macks Inn, 9 inches at Island Park, 8 inches in Malad, 4 inches in Soda Springs, 4 inches in Rexburg, 3 inches on the Pocatello benches. Although snow amounts were light in the 1 to 3 inch range in the Lower Snake River Plain, strong winds in excess of 30 mph caused the shutdown of interstate 86 between American Falls and Pocatello on the morning of the 14th.
