UPPER LOW WL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY PULL AWAY TO THE W OVER THE NEXT 36
HRS. LOOKS LIKE GOOD PVA AND SFC CONVERGENCE COMING INTO THE ERN
SLOPES OF THE NC/SC MTNS TNGT. ATTM PCPN OVER THE MTNS AND UPSTATE
IS WIDESPREAD...BUT INTENSITY HAS SHOWN A BIT OF DECREASE.
HOWEVER...THINK THAT AS THE EVENING WEARS ON...CONVECTION SHOULD
REFIRE IN UPSLOPE AREAS NE OF THE LOW CENTER.

AS A RESULT...PLAN ON ISSUING A FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR THE SRN NC
MTNS...WRN SC UPSTATE AND NE GA. WON/T PUSH INTO THE FRENCH BROAD
VALLEY OR THE NC FOOTHILLS AS CONVECTION IS MOVING MORE QUICKLY
THESE ZONES.

PREVIOUS SHIFT HAD LIKELY POPS W TUE AND CHANCE E. THIS STILL LOOKS
GOOD BASED ON LATEST MODEL PROGS OF DEEPER MOISTURE AND STRONGER
KINEMATICS OVER WRN ZONES TMRW.

WL HOLD ON TO CHANCE POPS FOR THE DURATION OF THE EXTENDED
PERIOD...WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ERN ZONES WED. HPC KEEPS POPS
RATHER HIGH DURING THE ENTIRE PERIOD...THOUGH I DO HAVE MY DOUBTS
W/A LACK OF MUCH ALOFT.
