ANOTHER VORT MAX APPROACHES WESTERN NY BY 12Z MONDAY AND IS PROGGED TO BE CENTERED OVER THE FA AROUND 18Z AS THE UPPER LOW LIFTS ACROSS WESTERN NY. A thunderstorm microburst downed trees in a swath four tenths of a mile long by 200 feet wide. Some of the trees fell on parked cars. A NWS survey team found evidence of a gustnado along the western flank of the microburst and some eyewitnesses reported seeing a "swirl".
