High Wind in Pennsylvania, February 10, 2001
A strong area of low pressure moving across the region produced a brief period of high winds across portions of western Pennsylvania. Numerous large trees and power lines were downed by the high wind, with the majority of the damage occurring along the higher elevations of the eastern portions of the four-county area.

Numerous large trees and power lines were downed by the high wind, with the majority of the damage occurring along the higher elevations of the eastern portions of the four-county area. One gust to 64 MPH was recorded at the DuBois-Jefferson County Airport.
