An ice jam on the Clarion River caused minor flooding upstream at the town of Cooksburg. Water rose rapidly behind the jam, forcing the river level at Cooksburg to rise above the flood stage of 13.0 feet just before noon. The river crested at 14.09 feet at around 1:00 PM, then receded quickly as the ice jam broke up and moved downstream. The river level at Cooksburg was back below flood stage by 1:36 PM.
