Indian summer conditions lingered well into December. Daytime readings in the 50s and 60s were common. On the 5th, South Point reached 77 degrees, Gallipolis had 76 degrees, Marietta saw 75 degrees, New Lexington 74 degrees, while both Athens and Jackson observed 72 degrees.
