PIEDMONT WITH THE ACTUAL COLD FRONTAL BOUNDARY MOVING ACROSS THE
TENN VALLEY. MODELS IN GOOD AGREEMENT IN MOVING THIS BOUNDARY
OFFSHORE BETWEEN 06Z AND 12Z SUNDAY. IN THE WARM AND UNSTABLE
AIRMASS AHEAD OF THE FRONT WITH LIS IN THE -3 TO -6 RANGE
CURRENTLY...EXPECT SOME SCATTERED SHOWER/TSTM ACTIVITY THRU THE
EVENING HOURS AND PERHAPS HANGING AROUND AFTER MIDNIGHT. THINK
ACROSS THE BOARD 40 PCT POPS SHOULD COVER THE SITUATION AS LOW-LEVEL
MOIST INFLOW IS RATHER LIMITED WITH THE WSW/SW FLOW. USING A BLEND
OF GUIDANCE TEMPS YIELDS MINS TONIGHT IN THE UPPER 50S TO LOWER 6OS.
ON SUNDAY...STG CAA TAKES PLACE AS H8 TEMPS TUMBLE FROM 13C TODAY TO
ABOUT 8C SUNDAY. STILL A PLEASANT DAY AS MAX TEMPS REACH THE LOWER
70S EXCEPT UPPER 60S ON THE OUTER BANKS. WILL FCST PTCLDY ON THE
OUTER BANKS WITH SOME RESIDUAL MOISTURE LIKELY LEFTOVER BEHIND THE
BOUNDARY IN THE MORNING...WITH MOSTLY SUNNY ELSEWHERE. SUNDAY NIGHT
WILL BE UNSEASONABLY COOL AGAIN WITH MINS OVER MOST MAINLAND AREAS
INTO THE UPPER 40S. IN THE EXTND PERIOD...AVN/MRF INDICATE ANOTHER
DECENT FRONT TO AFFECT US IN THE TUES/WEDS TIMEFRAME WITH ANOTHER

SHORE ARE STILL IN THE 15 TO 20 KT RANGE. 20 TO 25 KT MARGINAL SCA
SHOULD STILL HOLD FOR TONIGHT AHEAD OF THE FRONT. WINDS WILL SHIFT
TO THE N AS THE FRONT COMES THROUGH AFTER MIDNIGHT. AND SHOULD
REMAIN NEAR SCA THRESHOLDS INTO EARLY SUN MORNING...DIMINISHING TO
15 KT DURING THE AFTERNOON.
