HEATING ALONG WITH A LITTLE UPPER LEVEL SUPPORT HAS KEPT SHRA/TSTM
ACTIVITY GOING ALONG THE COAST. THIS H5 VORT MOVES OFFSHORE BY THIS
EVENING AS YET ANOTHER APPROACHES THE CRYSTAL COAST FROM THE SOUTH.
THIS COMBINED WITH A COLD FRONT THAT WILL PUSH INTO THE CENTRAL PART
OF THE STATE WILL KEEP SCT SHRA/TSTMS ALONG THE COAST THRU TNT. THIS
FRONT BEGINS TO REACH THE COAST TUE AM WHERE IT WILL BECMG NEARLY
STATIONARY. WILL UP THE POPS JUST A LITTLE TNGT FOR COASTAL AREAS. ETA
MEAN RH SUGGESTS THAT SCATTERED SHRA/TSTMS WILL CONT TUE...
ESPECIALLY NEAR AND ALONG THE COAST INTO TUE AM. THE FRONT MOVES
OFFSHORE LATE TUE AFTN/EVENING AS A SFC HIGH PUSHES IN FROM THE W.

WEDNESDAY...LOOKS TO BE DRY WITH STRONG SUBSIDENCE AND A SFC HIGH
OVER THE STATE. TEMPS WILL CONT NEAR NORMAL WITH HIGHS IN THE MID TO
UPPER 80. ETA SUGGESTS LOWS WED MORNING IN THE LOW TO MID 60S. THIS
IS LIKELY TOO COLD...BUT WILL SHAVE OFF A DEGREE OR 2 IN CURRENT
FCST.

IN THE EXTENDED...ANOTHER FRONT MOVES INTO THE REGION THU INTO THU
NIGHT BRINGING ANOTHER CHC FOR SHRA/TSTMS. THIS FRONT LOOKS AS THOUGH
IT WILL STALL ALONG THE COAST OR JUST OFFSHORE AND REMAIN IN THE
AREA INTO THE WEEKEND. THIS COULD KEEP SCT SHRA/TSTMS AROUND THE
COASTAL REGION THRU THE LATTER PART OF THE WEEK.

MARINE FCST...SW 15-20 KT AHEAD OF FRONT BUT WINDS SHOULD DROP OFF
BY MORNING TO 10-15 KT. FRONT HANGS UP OVER COASTAL WATERS AND
MOST LIKELY WILL BE LIGHT AND VARIABLE TOMORROW NIGHT INTO WED. IN
CONVECTION THERE WILL BE WINDS SCA CRITERIA AND WILL COVER THAT WITH
WINDS AND SEAS HIGHER NEAR TSTMS.

A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS...CONTAINING HEAVY DOWNPOURS...AND FREQUENT
DEADLY CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL MOVE ACROSS GREENE...PITT...AND
MARTIN COUNTIES. WHEN YOU HEAR THUNDER MOVE INSIDE TO AVOID GETTING
STRUCK BY LIGHTNING. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO CONTAIN BRIEF
HEAVY DOWNPOURS IN EXCESS OF 1 INCH AN HOUR AND GUSTY WINDS TO 45
MILES AN HOUR.
