Heavy rains from a warm front, produced 2 to 4 inches of rainfall across Hamilton County during the overnight hours of June 23-24. Runoff from the rainfall caused the Moose River to briefly exceed bankfull early on the 24th. The gage at McKeever crested .06 feet higher than the 11-foot flood stage at 715 AM Saturday. There were no problems reported to the National Weather Service as a result of this flooding.
