A winter storm dropped heavy snow across northeast Nevada. Amounts include 17 inches at Wildhorse, 12 inches at Tuscarora, 12 inches at the Newmont mine 25 miles north of Carlin, and 8 inches at Pilot Valley in eastern Elko county.
