THIS COMBINED TROUGH MOVES ACROSS WRN NV AFTER 06Z. RADAR INDICATES BANDS OF RAIN AHEAD OF THIS FEATURE WHICH SHOULD BE DECREASING FROM THE WEST OVER WRN NV AFTER MIDNIGHT WITH A FEW SHOWERS LINGERING OVER THE MOUNTAINS OF NE CA AND WRN NV AS FAR SOUTH AS GREATER TAHOE. THE SATELLITE SHOWS A WET WESTERLY FLOW UPSTREAM AND THE NEW ETA IS CONSISTENT WITH PRIOR MODEL RUNS INDICATING INCREASING RH THROUGH THE DAY WEDNESDAY. THE STRONGER DYNAMICS REMAIN OVER NRN CA WEDNESDAY THEN STRONG VERTICAL MOTION SHIFTS TO THE CENTRAL SIERRA BY WEDNESDAY EVENING AND THROUGH THE NIGHT AHEAD OF THE NEXT PACIFIC SHORT WAVE TROUGH AND UNDER THE JETSTREAM THAT PUSHES INLAND AND OVER THE SIERRA NEAR OR A LITTLE S OF TAHOE. RAIN SHOULD SPREAD FROM THE SIERRA TO WRN NV LATE IN THE DAY WEDNESDAY OR BY WEDNESDAY EVENING. PRECIPITATION WILL GENERALLY REDUCE THE POTENTIAL OF STRONG WINDS MIXING DOWN FROM ALOFT INTO THE VALLEYS BUT GUSTY WINDS COULD STILL COME AND GO LOCALLY.
