PROBLEM FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS WILL BE A COLD FRONT MOVING OUT OF
ALBERTA AND INTO MT. GOOD THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE
FRONT AS IT HAS BEEN MARCHING SE. THE FRONT SHOULD REACH THE NW ZONES
IN THE NEXT FEW HOURS. IT THEN CONTINUES SE AND SHOULD CLEAR THE CWA
BY LATE EVENING. MUCH OF THE MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY SHOULD REMAIN IN
CANADA WITH THIS SYSTEM...SO PROBABILITY FOR RAIN AND WIND SHOULD BE
MINIMAL. LINGERING CLOUDS AND AN ISOLATED SHOWER SHOULD BE EXITING
DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS ACROSS THE NE ZONES...OTHERWISE THE UPPER
FLOW/THICKNESS PATTERN BOUNCES BACK QUITE NICELY. LOOK FOR TEMPS
THURSDAY TO BE NO GREATER THAN 10 DEGREES LOWER THAN TODAY/S.

A SIMILAR DISTURBANCE THEN BEGINS TO AFFECT THE AREA FRIDAY. THE VORT
CENTER IS EXPECTED TO TRACK EASTERLY JUST NORTH OF THE INTERNATIONAL
BORDER...WITH ITS ASSOCIATED SURFACE LOW ALSO STAYING NORTH OF THE
BORDER. THIS SHOULD LEAVE NE MT WITH SUNSHINE AND WARMER THAN NORMAL
TEMPERATURES.

BEYOND FRIDAY...HIGH CONFIDENCE IN THIS PERIOD EXISTS AS ALL MODELS ARE
IN AGREEMENT WITH A CLOSED LOW SPINNING UP OVER ALASKA THIS WEEKEND...
THEN HOLDING GROUND INTO NEXT WEEK. THIS SHOULD INDUCE A RIDGE OVER THE
WESTERN US AND MT OVER THE WEEKEND...EXTENDING INTO MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
THE COOLEST DAY WILL LIKELY BE SATURDAY.  JAMBA
