Severe thunderstorm winds damaged approximately 11,000 acres of timber in a largely uninhabited area of northwestern St. Louis County between Pearl Lake and Little Johnson Lake. About 75% of the trees in the 20-mile long swath were downed or severely damaged. The time of the damage is estimated.
