MAIN CONCERN FOR FIRST TWO PERIODS IS LOCATION AND AMOUNT OF
PRECIPITATION IN FORECAST AREA.  POSITIVELY TILTED TROUGH AT 500 MB
WAS ORIENTED ACROSS CENTRAL ROCKIES EARLY THIS MORNING.
COMBINATION OF...AT LEAST...JET DYNAMICS AND LOW-LEVEL THERMAL
ADVECTION WILL HELP GENERATE SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALLS ACROSS SOUTHERN
PART OF THE FORECAST AREA.  PROGNOSTIC Q VECTORS AND UPPER LEVEL
DIVERGENCE FIELDS IN THE MID-LAYERS ALSO INDICATES SIGNIFICANT
UPPER VERTICAL MOTION. INITIAL AREA OF PRECIPITATION HAS BEEN
DEVELOPING ACROSS DAKOTAS AND CONSIDERING EXTRAPOLATION OF LATEST
SATELLITE DATA WITH COOLING TOPS AND AREA EXPANSION FEEL AREA WILL
INVADE PARTS OF EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA LATER THIS MORNING

AT THIS TIME WILL ISSUE SNOW ADVISORIES FOR SOUTHERN PART OF
FORECAST AREA THROUGH TONIGHT. EXPECT LINGERING WARM
ADVECTION/ISENTROPIC LIFT INDUCED LIGHT SNOW LATER TONIGHT INTO
THURSDAY. COORDINATION OCCURRED WITH FORECAST OFFICES AT
