A lake effect snow event caused widespread snow across Southwest Lower Michigan and Northwest Indiana. The heaviest snow fell across Berrien county Michigan and ST. Joseph county Indiana. Ten inches of snow fell across Buchanan and Berrien Springs and nine inches fell across South Bend.
