Most communities in extreme northeast Kentucky saw only 1 to 2 inches of monthly rain. That is about half the normal amount. Yatesville Lake in Lawrence County had only 0.91 inches. Grayson Lake had 1.2 inches of rain, while Carter Caves measured 1.4 inches.
