H850 TEMPERATURE ADVECTION AT 06Z WAS PICKING UP ON THE ACTIVITY ACROSS SOUTHERN KANSAS...AND MOVES IT SOUTH OF THE AREA THROUGH 12Z. THE ELEVATED CONVECTION MATCHING TO H700 TEMPERATURE ADVECTION CONTINUES TO SHOW ACTIVITY STILL OVER EAST CENTRAL AND PART OF NORTHEAST KANSAS AFTER 12Z. THE H700 PATTERN SHOWS ACTIVITY COULD CONTINUE IN THE EASTCENTRAL COUNTIES UNTIL ABOUT 16Z. THEREFORE WILL HAVE SCATTERED/NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS MAINLY SOUTHEAST OF I-35 FOR THE MORNING WHERE PRECIPITABLE WATER WILL REMAIN ABOVE 1.5 INCHES...AND WILL ONLY INCLUDE AN EARLY MORNING GROUP FARTHER NORTH IF NEEDED. THE ATMOSPHERE DRIES THE REST OF THE DAY AND TONIGHT WITH A NORTH SURFACE WIND MOVING IN BEHIND THE RAIN.
