A lake effect snow event produced snow bands over much of Southwest Lower Michigan and Northwest Indiana. Snowfall was heaviest across Berrien county Michigan and ST. Joseph county Indiana. Nine inches of snow fell across South Bend and ten inches fell in both Buchanan and Berrien Springs.
