An excessive heat watch was issued on Monday, July 30th and an excessive heat warning was issued on Wednesday, August 1st. The high temperature at Ohare Airport was 90 on both July 29th and July 30th and 94 degrees on July 31st.
Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.

An excessive heat watch was issued on Monday, July 30th and an excessive heat warning was issued on Wednesday, August 1st. The high temperature at Ohare Airport was 90 on both July 29th and July 30th and 94 degrees on July 31st.
