NARRATIVE SYNOPTIC DISCUSSION FOR WAKE ISLAND ...TODAY AND TONIGHT... A WEAK SURFACE TROUGH WILL REMAIN OVER THE AREA TODAY AND TONIGHT ALONG WITH CONTINUED CLOUDY SKIES AND SCATTERED SHOWERS. ISOLATED DEEP CONVECTION WILL CONTINUE TO THREATEN WAKE THROUGH THE PERIOD WHILE EAST WINDS 5 TO 10 KNOTS WILL BECOME MORE SOUTHEASTERLY TONIGHT...DRAGGING EVEN MORE MOISTURE INTO THE REGION AND ADDING TO THE OPPRESSIVELY MUGGY CONDITIONS. NO SIGNIFICANT SWELL IS EXPECTED.
