NARRATIVE SYNOPTIC DISCUSSION FOR WAKE ISLAND SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT...YOUR TIME A WEAK STATIONARY LOW LIES ROUGHLY 240 NM WEST OF WAKE. THIS LOW IS EXPECTED TO DISSIPATE BY MONDAY BUT THE LIGHT SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL CONTINUE IN THE MEAN TIME. ALOFT IS TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE THAT HAS AIDED IN THE ISOLATED CONVECTION IN YOUR VICINITY. ALTHOUGH IT IS EXPECTED TO MOVE WEST...PASSING WAKE TONIGHT...THE CHANCES REMAINS FAVORABLE FOR A SHOWER / THUNDERSTORM DURING THIS PERIOD. NO SIGNIFICANT SWELL IS EXPECTED.
