A FINE LONG WEEK END.

DISCUSSION...THE STRONG SURFACE HIGH TO THE NORTH COUPLED WITH
UNSTABLE UPPER LEVEL TROUGHING TO THE WEST WILL PRODUCE BLUSTERY
CONDITIONS OVER THE STATE TODAY AND TOMORROW..ONLY KAUAI AT THE
EDGE OF THE CIRRUS SHIELD WILL SEE MUCH SUNSHINE. THE HIGH SHOULD
BUILD TO ITS MAXIMUM STRENGTH OF 1038 MILLIBARS LATER TODAY AND THEN
WEAKEN TO A MODEST 1020 MB BY MONDAY. THE EVENTUALLY LIGHTER TRADE
WINDS THANKS TO THE RETREATING HIGH AND THE PASSAGE OF THE UPPER
TROUGH THRU THE ISLANDS SHOULD SIGNIFICANTLY MINIMIZE RAINFALL AND
MAXIMIZE OUR MUCH MISSED SUNSHINE BY SATURDAY.  MATSUDA
