Strong west winds caused damage in Majuro. During the afternoon the winds gusted to 44 mph (measured by the NWS Office inMajuro). A number of vessels broke from their moorings. One yacht was badly damaged when one vessel slammed into itrepeatedly.

IS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 11 MPH WITH MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS OF 105
MPH. NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH
WUTIP ARE LOCATED BETWEEN 19N AND 25N AND FROM 141E TO 148E.

TROPICAL STORM SEPAT (17W) IS LOCATED NEAR 26N161E AND IS MOVING
NORTH AT 11 MPH. SEPAT HAS MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS OF 50 MPH.
SHOWER ACTIVITY DIRECTLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE TROPICAL STORM IS NORTH
OF 25N.

THE MONSOON TROUGH EXTENDS FROM 19N130E TO TYPHOON WUTIP NEAR
21N144E TO TROPICAL STORM SEPAT NEAR 26N161E...THEN SOUTHEASTWARD TO
A WEAK CIRCULATION NEAR 8N175E. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH LOW-LEVEL WIND CONVERGENCE NEAR AND TO
THE SOUTH OF THE MONSOON TROUGH ARE OCCURRING  IN AN AREA BOUNDED BY
5N130E TO 18N130E TO 18N148E BACK TO 5N130E. THE SOUTHERN EDGE OF
THIS AREA IS IN THE REPUBLIC OF PALAU...YAP STATE...AND ALONG THE
MARIANA ISLANDS.

A SECOND AREA OF LOW LEVEL WIND CONVERGENCE SOUTH OF THE MONSOON
TROUGH IS GENERATING A LARGE AREA OF CLOUDS WITH PATCHES OF LIGHT
RAIN... SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS BETWEEN THE
MARIANAS AND WAKE ISLAND. THIS AREA IS BOUNDED BY 11N150E TO 17N150E
TO 15N166E TO 15N165E TO 10N158E BACK TO 11N150E.

A THIRD AREA OF LOW-LEVEL WIND CONVERGENCE ASSOCIATED WITH THE WEAK
CIRCULATION EAST OF MAJURO AND THE EASTERN MOST PORTION OF THE
MONSOON TROUGH IS GENERATING AN EXTENSIVE AREA OF CLOUDS...LIGHT
RAIN...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS FROM POHNPEI
EASTWARD ACROSS THE MARSHALL ISLANDS. THIS AREA IS BETWEEN THE
EQUATOR AND 11N FROM 157E TO THE DATE LINE.

AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE IS PRODUCING SCATTERED SHOWERS
TO THE NORTHEAST AND EAST OF WAKE ISLAND NORTH OF 17N FROM 170E TO
THE DATE LINE.
