TRW HAVE DEVELOPED ALONG DEW POINT DISCONTINUITY OVER WEST CENTRAL
GEORGIA. THIS BOUNDARY IS SLOWLY LIFTING TO THE NORTHEAST AND SHOULD
PUT MOST OF THE STATE IN HIGHER DEW POINT/UNSTABLE AIR OVERNIGHT.
THUS WILL KEEP POPS IN THROUGH THE NIGHT AS IN PRESENT FORECAST.
WILL INCREASE CLOUDS MOST AREAS AS WE HAVE DEVELOPED A FAIRLY
EXTENSIVE CIRRUS SHIELD. WILL DECREASE WINDS A BIT...AS IT IS
DIFFICULT TO SUSTAIN 5 TO 10 MPH THROUGH THE NIGHT WITHOUT A FAIRLY
STRONG SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT. TEMPERATURES LOOK OK WITH THE
HIGHER DEW POINTS AND CLOUDS KEEPING OVERNIGHT TEMPERATURES QUITE A
BIT WARMER THAN THE PAST FEW NIGHTS.

.SYNOPSIS...
A STRONG UPPER-LEVEL...AND ACCOMPANYING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM...WILL
REMAIN ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES REGION TONIGHT. SHORT WAVE TROUGHS
CONTINUE TO ROTATE THROUGH THE UPPER LOW AND ACROSS THE SOUTHERN U.S.
A BOUNDARY SEPARATING WARM...HUMID...AND UNSTABLE AIR TO THE SOUTH FROM
COOLER...DRIER MORE STABLE AIR TO THE NORTH IS LOCATED FROM NEAR
HUNTSVILLE ALABAMA...TO ATLANTA...TO AUGUSTA THIS EVENING. THIS
BOUNDARY IS LIFTING SLOWLY NORTHEAST AND THIS WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT
AND EARLY MONDAY AND SERVE AS A FOCUSING MECHANISM FOR THUNDERSTORM
DEVELOPMENT.

.PRIMARY HAZARD...
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE NORTHWEST-SOUTHEAST
ORIENTED BOUNDARY OF INSTABILITY TONIGHT.  SOME OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS
MAY APPROACH SEVERE LIMITS.  THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
1/4 TO 1/2 INCH HAIL AND WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH. THE PRIMARY THREAT FROM
THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT WILL BE FREQUENT CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING AND
HEAVY DOWNPOURS. LATER TONIGHT...THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR A MESOSCALE
CONVECTIVE SYSTEM...NOW LOCATED ACROSS OKLAHOMA AND ARKANSAS...TO REACH
NORTHWEST GEORGIA BEFORE MORNING...AND THEN SPREAD SOUTHEASTWARD TOWARD
ATLANTA AROUND DAYBREAK. THE MAIN THREAT WITH THIS COMPLEX WOULD AGAIN
BE LOCALIZED VERY HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING.

.DISCUSSION...
THE AIR MASS ACROSS NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY
UNSTABLE TONIGHT AS WARM...HUMID AIR BEGINS TO MOVE NORTHEASTWARD.
CAPES OF 400 TO 700 JOULES PER KILOGRAM AND LIFTED INDICES IN THE 0 TO
-2 RANGE WILL SUPPORT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS THAT MAY APPROACH SEVERE
LIMITS...ESPECIALLY THROUGH 2 AM. THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT SHOULD BE
CONCENTRATED WITHIN A NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST ORIENTED BAND THAT WILL
LIFT SLOWLY NORTHEASTWARD OVERNIGHT.  HOWEVER...AT THIS TIME...IT DOES
NOT APPEAR THAT DYNAMIC AND THERMODYNAMIC PARAMETERS WILL SUPPORT
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.

FOR SPOTTERS...
ALTHOUGH SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT ANTICIPATED THROUGH TONIGHT...SPOTTERS
AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR ANY CHANGES
TO THE SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOK.  A SLIGHT INCREASE IN INSTABILITY
