CURRENT FORECAST STILL LOOKS PRETTY GOOD. ATMOSPHERE REMAINS
MODERATELY UNSTABLE WITH DAYTIME HEATING. CONVECTION SHOULD
BE SCATTERED IN NATURE ONCE AGAIN WITH LACK OF A DOMINANT
FOCUSING FEATURE. WEAK SHORTWAVE THAT HAS FIRED CLUSTER OF
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS TENNESSEE AND FAR NORTH ALABAMA SHOULD
REMAIN GENERALLY NORTH ...ONLY BRUSHING FAR NORTH GEORGIA AS
IT WEAKENS.

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST FROM THE OHIO VALLEY ACROSS
TENNESSEE TONIGHT.

.PRIMARY HAZARD...
THE PRIMARY HAZARD FROM THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING.

.DISCUSSION...
A WARM MOIST AIRMASS AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT...COMBINED
WITH DAYTIME HEATING WILL PRODUCE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. WITH CAPES OF 600 TO 800 AND LIFTED INDICES IN THE 0 TO
MINUS 2 RANGE...THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE.
HOWEVER...BRIEF HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING
ARE POSSIBLE.
