AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOUNT HOLLY NJ 245 AM EST WED NOV 28 2001 THE SMALL PATCH OF RAIN MOVING ACROSS PHL AND VICINITY SHOULD BE OFF THE COAST BY 400 AM. IT WILL LIKELY BE THE LAST OF THE PRECIP IN OUR FORECAST AREA UNTIL TONIGHT. WHILE WE SHOULD SEE SOME DRYING IN THE LOW LEVELS TODAY...MIDDLE AND HIGH CLOUDS ARE STREAMING UP FROM THE SOUTHWEST. THEREFORE...THERE COULD BE SOME BREAKS OF SUNSHINE THIS MORNING OR EARLY THIS AFTERNOON...BUT IN GENERAL SKIES SHOULD BE MOSTLY CLOUDY. AS WE GET INTO THE INFLUENCE OF THE SOUTHERN EDGE OF THE CANADIAN HIGH SOME LIGHT OVER-RUNNING PRECIP IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER OUR REGION TONIGHT. THE GREATER CHANCE FOR RAIN WILL BE ACROSS OUR NORTHERN COUNTIES. THAT WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE CASE INTO THURSDAY. THE SHORT WAVE THAT IS EXPECTED TO BE EJECTED OUT OF THE SOUTHWEST CONTINUES TO APPEARS AS THOUGH IT WILL AFFECT OUR REGION ON FRIDAY.
