MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. A SHALLOW
MARINE LAYER WILL MAINTAIN NIGHT AND MORNING COASTAL LOW CLOUDS AND FOG.
HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL CONTINUE HOT DAYS INLAND...COOLING NEXT WEEK AS
THE HIGH WEAKENS.

OUTFLOW FROM DESERT THUNDERSTORMS CAUSED LOCAL GUSTY E WINDS IN DESERTS/
MOUNTAINS AND THROUGH PASSES THIS AM. LOW CLOUDS AND FOG WERE INTO SAN
COASTAL AREAS AND PARTS OF W INLAND SAN VALLEYS AND ORANGE COUNTY
COASTAL AREA THIS AM. 12Z NKX SOUNDING HAD A STRONG INVERSION BASED
BELOW 1000 FT. OFFSHORE TREND FROM THE NE WITH ONLY 1-2 MB SAN-IPL.

UPPER HI CENTERED TO THE NW OF OUR AREA GETS PINCHED OFF BY TROUGH
MOVING PAST FAR TO THE N. TWO HI CENTERS RESULT WITH ONE NEAR THE
4-CORNERS AREA SUNDAY. ELY FLOW ALOFT WILL BRING IN GRADUALLY INCREASING
MOISTURE...LOWERING AND BECOMING MORE EXTENSIVE SUNDAY. AN ELY WAVE
COULD ALSO AFFECT OUR AREA SUNDAY...MAINLY S. SO WILL GO WITH SLIGHT
CHANCE OF MOUNTAIN/DESERT THUNDERSTORMS SAT AND A BETTER CHANCE SUNDAY.
SHOULD GET SOME DEBRIS CLOUDS W OF MOUNTAINS SUNDAY AND CANNOT RULE OUT
THE POSSIBILITY OF SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS. CONTINUED HOT INLAND BUT WITH
