THIS SHOULD HELP FLATTEN THE RIDGE OVER CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN CA ALLOWING TEMPERATURES TO SLOWLY COOL A BY FEW DEGREES EACH DAY UNTIL SURFACE GRADIENTS STRENGTHEN ENOUGH TO ALLOW A GOOD MARINE PUSH INTO THE CENTRAL CA INTERIOR. NGM FWC MOS FOLLOWS THIS TREND FOR THE SHORT TERM AND DID NOT STRAY TOO MUCH FROM MOS IS THIS PACKAGE. BEYOND SUNDAY IT LOOKS LIKE A MAJOR CHANGE IN THE UPPER FLOW PATTERN DEVELOPS AS A TROUGH DROPS DOWN ACROSS CALIFORNIA EARLY NEXT WEEK.
