High Wind in Alaska, November 28, 2001
High pressure building over Northwest Canada brought strong gusty Taku-like and gap flow winds through the interior passes. The strong gusty winds were reported at several areas including Canyon Island Taku Pass (63 mph) and at South Douglas Island (62 mph).
