With the arctic front hanging right across the area, Seward recorded a significant snowfall. 24 hour Observations received Friday morning from the DOT recorded 18 inches of new snow in a 24 hour period from 7am Thursday to 7 am Friday. Noontime calls to Seward revealed another 6 inches of snow from 7 am to noon Friday.
