Heavy Snow in Alaska, December 5, 2001
A series of locally heavy snow showers associated with a low pressure center over the northern Gulf of Alaska moved across the eastern gulf coast and the city of Yakutat. When the snow showers had diminished, 13" of snow had fallen by afternoon.
