Strong winds behind a cold front caused broken tree limbs and branches to fall onto power lines. Between 2,000 and 3,000 customers lost electrical power in parts of central and east central Wisconsin. The strong winds downed five small trees at Green Bay Botanical Gardens. The strongest wind gust was 46 mph at Appleton (Outagamie co.). Peak gusts were in the 35 mph to 45 mph range across the rest of the area.
