After a cold front moved across the region during the afternoon of the 22nd, northwest winds picked up to 20 to 30 MPH. Temperatures dropped into the teens which created wind chills between -10 and -20 degrees. As the winds subsided during the early morning hours of the 23rd, temperatures ranged from the single digits above zero to the low teens.
