A series of fast moving weather disturbances brought a period of prolonged snowfall to much of eastern Utah. Heavy snow with winds gusting to over 50 mph occurred with this storm. Most mountain locations received 6 to 10 inches of snow, although 11 inches fell at Cedar Point. Some lower elevations over southeast Utah also reported heavy snowfall amounts, including 8 inches at Natural Bridges National Monument.
