Approximately 100 acres were burnt by brush fires fueled by dry, windy conditions in St. Croix western end hillsides. The fires began in Calqouhoun and spread to cover a a broad area in William's Delight, Queen Louise and Estate Mountain. No homes were destroyed and nobody was injured.
