An arctic front swept across the northern ID panhandle allowing unseasonably cold air to filter through the valleys. Snow accumulated in the northern valleys with 3-4 inches by afternoon. While across the central panhandle mountains snow levels ranged from 3000-4000 feet with 4-6 inches reported. This late spring snow storm lead to several accidents, especially along the north-south corridor of Highway 95.
