Heavy Snow in Texas, January 27, 2000
An upper level storm system moved across northern New Mexico and then eastward across the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles producing heavy snow during the late night and into the daytime hours. Snowfall amounts from the northwest Texas panhandle southeastward into the eastern and southeastern sections were generally in the four to six inch range.
