High winds buckled the walls of a mobile home south of Groton.

Winds to 80 mph brought down many trees and branches throughout Andover. Eight power poles were snapped off by the high winds leaving Andover and a few surrounding farms without power for several hours. Some of the fallen trees and branches also snapped several power lines and broke some windows. At the James Valley Threshing show grounds in Andover, one building had its top blown off and its sides twisted. Also, a pole barn was completely torn apart and some machinery was rolled over by the high winds.

On a farm, south of Andover, high winds destroyed one building, blew the roofs off of two others, downed numerous trees, and downed some power lines. As a result, the farm was without power for many hours.
