An unusual June nor'easter brought strong winds and heavy rain to portions of Rhode Island. The brunt of the storm was felt near the coast, where strong winds gusted as high as 47 mph on Block Island. The heaviest rain fell in Bristol County, where 3.42 inches of rain was reported by a spotter. The rest of the Ocean State received 2 to 3 inches of rain from the storm. There were no reports of flooding.
