Thunderstorms preceding and accompanying a slow moving cold front produced a few hours of heavy rain across southeastern Pennsylvania around midnight EDT on the 15th. Poor drainage flooding occurred, especially in low-lying areas. But, no serious flooding or injuries were reported. Storm totals included 2.00 inches in Wynnewood (Montgomery County), 1.92 inches in Crum Creek (Delaware County) and Neshaminy Falls (Bucks County), 1.82 inches at the Northeast Philadelphia Airport, 1.78 inches at the Philadelphia International Airport, 1.67 inches in West Chester (Chester County), 1.40 inches in Chadds Ford (Delaware County) and 1.39 inches at Valley Forge (Montgomery County).
