A wildfire fueled by the bone dry weather conditions destroyed one home in Douglass Township. The fire started around 8 p.m. EST on the 4th and was under control by the morning of the 5th. No serious injuries occurred. The unseasonably dry weather that has prevailed since early October contributed to the fire. No measurable rain fell in the region between October 18th and November 9th, a span of 21 days.
