After a brief break, lake effect snow bands redeveloped during the late evening hours. A heavy period of snow began shortly before daybreak on 22nd and continued through the late morning hours. Accumulations of 8 to 12 inches were reported in Crawford and northern Erie Counties. A maximum of 17.1 inches fell at Waterford in southeast Erie County.
