A nearly stationary thunderstorm with torrential downpours dropped between 3 and 4 inches of rain in extreme southeastern Carbon County within two hours between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m EDT. This led to poor drainage flooding as well as stream flooding in the county. No serious injuries were reported.
