An unseasonably warm and very humid air mass caused the deaths of two Philadelphia people on August 2nd. A 64-year-old male and a 74-year-old female died of heat related causes. One was in a nursing home where the air conditioning system was not working. The high temperature on the second at Philadelphia International Airport was 88 degrees. The overnight low was 73 degrees.
