Heavy Snow in Oklahoma, January 27, 2000
An upper level storm system moved across northern New Mexico and then eastward across the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles producing heavy snow during the late night and morning hours. The heaviest snows fell across the western Oklahoma panhandle where Boise City picked up six to eight inches.

An upper level storm system moved across northern New Mexico and then eastward across the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles producing heavy snow during the late night and morning hours. The heaviest snows fell across the western Oklahoma panhandle where Boise City picked up six to eight inches. Other amounts generally were around four and a half inches in the central Oklahoma panhandle and five to six inches across the eastern Oklahoma panhandle.
