Persistent heavy rainfall caused the Scioto River at Piketon to overflow its banks. The river reached an estimated stage of 19.8 feet around 800 pm on the 17th. Flood stage is 18.0 feet. Flooding affected a few low lying roads in Pike and northern Scioto counties.
