Stong thunderstorms moved slowly across Wells county. Doppler radar rainfall estimates of 6 to 8 inches fell within a 24 hour period. County officials reported widespread flooding which washed out hundreds of culverts, including 150 ina 6 mile area. Between 75 to 95 holmes received water damage to basements, which several collapsed. One hundred(100) percent of loss for that over 30,000 acres on 615 farms.
